The sleeping man!

27th July

project title

Wow it’s been far too long since I wrote anything on the blog. Well I do say in my intro it would be infrequent and I was certainly right about that. So what have I been up to over the last 4 or 5 months. Well mostly training up young Tess.
The last thing a photographer needs is an unruly dog prancing about the countryside chasing sheep and other wildlife while he tries to capture the last rays of sunshine over a stunning landscape.
It takes time and patience to train a dog to wait quietly while you are in the middle of a shoot. I am pleased to say Tess is coming along just fine in that respect.
Apart from Training Tess I have been looking for new locations to do some photo shoots. Sometimes I rely just wandering where my fancy takes me and other times I like to pick the brains of local people in a particular area.
I certainly wasn’t disappointed in finding this little treasure up on the moors above Edlingham. I was actually looking for the Green man cave I had been talking about. But the structure of the rocks I found up there are really weird. I named one of the The sleeping man. Well it does resemble a man lying down, don’t you think?
